Protect yourself and stay healthy
Many do not know how to take care of their heart health. I am going to be sharing with you some ways you can take care of your heart and your body.
The first thing to do is to eat a heart healthy diet. You want to eat a diet that is rich in omega 3 or 6 fatty acids, such as fish. Fish is good for the heart. You also want to eat fruits and vegetables. This can help you to stay healthy not only in your heart, but also in your whole body and mind. Eating a well balanced diet can help with other health problems and mental health as well.
Next, to stay healthy in your heart you want to get active. You do not want to be sitting around all day long because that can lead to poor heart health over an extended period of time. When you get up and move your body you are releasing endorphins. Also, exercise is great for the body and helps to fight off disease and sickness in the body. Exercise can also help relieve stress, depression, and anxiety. So, exercise is great for the mind and the heart as well. It helps to walk or run when you exercise, because that can help keep your heart healthy.
In addition to keeping your heart healthy, you want to keep a healthy weight. You do not want to be overweight or obese because obesity can give you health challenges. Obesity can also cause heart disease, high blood pressures, diabetes, etc. So, you want to make sure you are not eating a lot of junk food and food that is all sugar. Sugars cause cancer over time. Cancer feeds off of sugar. So, we want to be careful of the amount of sugar we are consuming regularly. Some sugar is okay if it is in moderation.
Furthermore, you want to quit smoking or stay away from secondhand smoke. When you smoke you are increasing the risk of disease and cancer in your body. Breathing in secondhand smoke is not good for your lungs or your heart or body because it can lead to other health problems over time. So, you want to make sure you are not around people who are smoking. You want to protect your heart health by not smoking and by not being around people who do smoke. This is for safety concerns and to live a long life on this earth.
Also, you want to limit the amount of alcohol you are drinking. Drinking is not a sin in itself, but drunkenness is. If you are a Christian, you will not want to drink at all, because you want to honor God with your body. When you drink you are opening the door for the enemy to come and attack your mind and your body. Drinking can lead to other sins, such as drunkenness. Drinking can also open up portals to demons and evil spirits in your body and life. If you have given into these sins of drunkenness and getting high, then you may need to repent and turn away from that sin because it can lead to hell and destruction.
Lastly, to keep your heart healthy you want to get the right amount of sleep. Sleep is good for your heart and your body because it helps your body to heal and recover. It also helps restore cells in your body and getting rest can help with renewal of the body's system. It can also help your heart to rest. When you are active the next day, this helps your heart to stay healthy along with rest. You do not want to get too much rest and no activity as that can lead to long term effects on the body.
