Waiting on the Lord and His timing

Waiting on Christ is worth it.

Waiting on God can be hard and difficult at times, especially in the microwave generation we live in today. This generation wants things right away.

Waiting on the Lord and His timing can make us impatient, because we want our prayers to be answered right away. We may have asked God for something and we do not see God coming through for us when we want Him to.

So, we start to doubt and question God. We start to feel like God is not answering our prayers when we asked Him for our needs. We feel like God does not hear us. We feel like God is not going to come through for us. But that is a lie that the enemy wants you to believe.

1 John 5:14-15 says, And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."

Psalm 27:14 says, "Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord."

If what we are asking God for us in His will, He is going to show up for us right on time. It may require us to wait and be patient. The waiting is always worth in the end. So, waiting actually develops trust in God and endurance. When we have waited, we will receive what God wants to give us at the perfect time. God is never late. He shows up for us right on time.

James 1:2-4 says, "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."
